Choose a profession below, then follow its material links to the matching Retail farming guides. Older expansion materials remain at their existing addresses.

Retail, current Midnight professions	The profession links below	Use the Midnight skill bar, materials and specialization rules.
Retail, an older expansion profession	Older Retail profession guides	Each expansion has its own profession track. An old material does not make the guide a Classic guide.
Classic Era or a Classic expansion	Classic directory and expansion selector	Select your realm’s ruleset. Era/TBC/Wrath use original Azeroth terrain; Cataclysm/Mists use the reworked world. Character levels and profession caps are listed separately.
WoW Forever	Forever information and status	Use its own version notes; do not assume Retail or Classic recipe rules carry over.

Every farming route should match both the material and the world layout. A map’s numbered starting points help you search; resource spawns and fishing pools can move or be exhausted by other players.

Profession progression
