Learn Midnight Fishing from Drathen in Silvermoon City. This expansion has its own 1–300 skill bar; older expansion skill does not need to be leveled first.

Leveling Fishing

Skill What to do
1–150 Use Eversong Woods or Silvermoon open water; pools are another option.
150–225 Continue earlier waters or fish Zul'Aman.
225–300 Continue earlier waters or fish Harandar. Seek specific zones when targeting particular fish.

These two small areas have fishable deep water. Stand carefully at the edge; much of the surrounding liquid is too shallow. Oceanic Vortex bubbles are another source, but their positions vary and they do not appear on ordinary pool tracking.

These are reported starting areas, not permanent pools. Vile Venom is useful for Many-Eyed Flounder and accompanying catches; Bubbling Beryl targets Sulfurous Sludgefish. For Willow Sea or Cursed Oddity, continue scouting and check the pool name. The underground Temple requires its own access and is not represented by a surface marker.
