This is the Retail guide for Adder's Tongue. It covers an older expansion’s crafting material, not Midnight’s new reagents.

Train Northrend Herbalism for this material. Retail uses a separate 1–75 Northrend skill bar; the old combined 1–600 progression does not apply. Character levels depend on zone scaling and timeline selection, so the map and quest requirements in your current game determine access.

Where to farm Adder's Tongue

  • Sholazar Basin

Enable Find Herbs and gather nodes while working around the zone. Detour toward visible nearby herbs, then return to the circuit. Change areas if another gatherer is repeatedly reaching the nodes first.

Search the jungle floor for Adder’s Tongue and follow the riverbanks for Tiger Lily. Detour along water rather than treating a land segment as a guaranteed lily spawn. Classic requirements are 400 for Adder’s Tongue and 375 for Tiger Lily. Markers identify approximate areas. Lines are suggested searches; they are not fixed spawn locations or a measured yield guarantee.
