This is the Retail guide for Bruiseweed. It covers an older expansion’s crafting material, not Midnight’s new reagents.

Train Classic Herbalism for this material. Retail uses a separate 1–300 Classic skill bar; the old combined 1–600 progression does not apply. Character levels depend on zone scaling and timeline selection, so the map and quest requirements in your current game determine access.

Where to farm Bruiseweed

  • Northern Stranglethorn
  • Ashenvale
  • Wetlands

Enable Find Herbs and gather nodes while working around the zone. Detour toward visible nearby herbs, then return to the circuit. Change areas if another gatherer is repeatedly reaching the nodes first.

Search the jungle floor for Kingsblood, structures and slopes for Bruiseweed, and hillsides for Wild Steelbloom. This uses the separate Northern Stranglethorn map; do not apply coordinates from the old combined zone. Markers identify approximate areas. Lines are suggested searches; they are not fixed spawn locations or a measured yield guarantee.
