Farming Liferoot — Retail

WoW Farming ·

Retail · Original WoW / Classic Era materials
Updated 21 October 2026

This is the Retail guide for Liferoot. It covers an older expansion’s crafting material, not Midnight’s new reagents.

Train Classic Herbalism for this material. Retail uses a separate 1–300 Classic skill bar; the old combined 1–600 progression does not apply. Character levels depend on zone scaling and timeline selection, so the map and quest requirements in your current game determine access.

Where to farm Liferoot

  • Western Plaguelands
  • Eastern Plaguelands
  • Northern Stranglethorn

Enable Find Herbs and gather nodes while working around the zone. Detour toward visible nearby herbs, then return to the circuit. Change areas if another gatherer is repeatedly reaching the nodes first.

Follow the mainland shore of Darrowmere Lake. Search close to the water and detour to tracked herbs. The route does not require entering Scholomance. Markers identify approximate areas. Lines are suggested searches; they are not fixed spawn locations or a measured yield guarantee.
