Learn Midnight Fishing and use pool tracking to find fishing activity. Check the pool name before casting when targeting a particular fish. Zone availability does not guarantee that every pool contains this fish.

Voidstorm has limited fishable water. Check near map coordinates 35.86, 47.10 or 35.24, 46.02; Oceanic Vortex pools are another option. Avoid treating shallow ground effects as fishable water.

Keep the fish intact if a recipe or lure asks for it by name. Filleting turns it into Thalassian Fillet and consumes the original fish.
