Updated 21 October 2026
This guide covers information available on 21 October. Forever is a separate ruleset: use these instructions instead of the Retail or Classic recipe ranges.
Carry a rod and apply a lure. Learn Expert from Old Man Heming’s book at character level 20 and skill 125. Artisan requires Nat Pagle’s quest at character level 35 and skill 225.
Leveling Fishing
| Skill | Materials | Method or area |
|---|---|---|
| 1–75 | Raw Brilliant Smallfish | Starter-zone waters |
| 75–150 | Raw Longjaw Mud Snapper; Raw Bristle Whisker Catfish | Capital or next-tier waters |
| 150–225 | Raw Mithril Head Trout | Dustwallow waters with Bright Baubles |
Materials and farming
The table lists skill targets. Recipe colors, available trainers and material supply determine how many crafts you need. Save intermediate products; buy vendor supplies instead of looking for a world farm.
