Farming Raw Mithril Head Trout — WoW Classic

WoW Classic · Original WoW / Classic Era
Updated 21 October 2026

How to farm Raw Mithril Head Trout

Fish the inland waters of Dustwallow Marsh. Arathi Highlands and Stranglethorn Vale are alternatives. Use a lure and improve Fishing skill if catches escape; stay clear of hostile patrols while casting.

Classic Era, TBC and Wrath use the original Azeroth terrain. Cataclysm and Mists use the reworked world, so use a route for your realm’s terrain.

See Fishing leveling for progression and related materials.

Choose an accessible inland pool or channel for Raw Mithril Head Trout. Keep away from the ocean shore and hostile patrols. The marker is a starting area, not a special fish-school spawn. Markers identify approximate areas on the original world map. Lines are suggested searches, not guaranteed spawn locations. Cataclysm changed this terrain.
