How to farm Large Opal
Mine Thorium Ore veins for a chance at Large Opal. Follow the Thorium circuit and check both small and rich veins when your skill allows.
Classic Era, TBC and Wrath use the original Azeroth terrain. Cataclysm and Mists use the reworked world, so use a route for your realm’s terrain.
See Mining leveling for progression and related materials.
