How to farm Greater Mystic Essence
Disenchant original-world uncommon weapons requiring approximately levels 31–35. Armor is more likely to give Vision Dust instead. These are equipment required levels, not your Enchanting skill.
Classic Era, TBC and Wrath use the original Azeroth terrain. Cataclysm and Mists use the reworked world, so use a route for your realm’s terrain.
See Enchanting leveling for progression and related materials.

For original WoW, Outland and Northrend, the ranges above refer to the equipment’s required character level. Cataclysm’s 272+ ranges refer to item level. These are different numbers: read the item tooltip and match its expansion before buying a batch to disenchant.
