Farming Deepsea Scale — WoW Classic

WoW Classic · Cataclysm
Updated 21 October 2026

How to farm Deepsea Scale

Kill and fully loot King Crawlers in southeastern Feralas, around 74, 73, then skin them. Deepsea Scale is a bonus skinning result; Savage Leather may be obtained instead. This farm uses the Cataclysm version of Feralas, not its original Classic terrain.

See Skinning leveling for progression and related materials.

Search the southeastern Steam Pools for King Crawlers. Kill, loot and skin them. Work the small pools as well as the larger lake; scales are a bonus skinning yield. Markers identify approximate areas. Lines are suggested searches; they are not fixed spawn locations or a measured yield guarantee.
