Farming Golden Pearl — WoW Classic

WoW Classic · Original WoW / Classic Era
Updated 21 October 2026

How to farm Golden Pearl

Loot Big-mouth Clams from Hatecrest naga in Feralas, including Shalzaru’s Lair on the island west of the mainland. Open the clams for a chance at Golden Pearl. This is a rare result; repeated clears may produce only meat and other pearls.

Classic Era, TBC and Wrath use the original Azeroth terrain. Cataclysm and Mists use the reworked world, so use a route for your realm’s terrain.

Clear Hatecrest naga around and inside the cave. Open Big-mouth Clams for Zesty Clam Meat and a chance at pearls. Swim to the island and watch for respawns inside the cave. Markers identify approximate areas on the original world map. Lines are suggested searches, not guaranteed spawn locations. Cataclysm changed this terrain.
