WoW Forever · Beta · launch scheduled 4 November 2026
Updated 21 October 2026
This guide covers information available on 21 October. Forever is a separate ruleset: use these instructions instead of the Retail or Classic recipe ranges.
Carry a pick, enable Find Minerals and smelt at a forge. Bronze combines Copper and Tin. Re-enable tracking if it is lost after death.
Leveling Mining
| Skill | Materials | Method or area |
|---|---|---|
| 1–65 | Copper Ore | Durotar, Elwynn or Zephras Isle |
| 65–125 | Tin Ore; Silver Ore | Wetlands or Silverpine; caves contain dangerous packs |
| 125–175 | Iron Ore; Gold Ore | Farm eligible deposits after training the next rank |
| 175–225 | Mithril Ore | Higher-level routes remain constrained by beta access |
Materials and farming
The table lists skill targets. Recipe colors, available trainers and material supply determine how many crafts you need. Save intermediate products; buy vendor supplies instead of looking for a world farm.
