WoW Classic · Original materials — choose your realm’s terrain
Updated 21 October 2026
Recommended source
Work humanoid camps in Redridge Mountains, Stonetalon Mountains or Ashenvale. Classic wool drops primarily from level 16–30 enemies; avoid moving so high that most drops become Silk.

How to farm Wool Cloth
Loot appropriate humanoid enemies. Cloth does not require a gathering profession.
Classic Era, TBC and Wrath use the original Azeroth terrain. Cataclysm and Mists use the reworked world, so use a route for your realm’s terrain.
