How to farm Thorium Ore

Mine deposits with Mining. Carry a Mining Pick and use Find Minerals.

Classic Era, TBC and Wrath use the original Azeroth terrain. Cataclysm and Mists use the reworked world, so use a route for your realm’s terrain.

Begin with Small Thorium Veins. At skill 275, add Rich Thorium Veins to your circuit around the crater’s edge and caves.

Un’Goro Crater — Thorium base map — Search the crater’s outer slopes and caves, with a detour around Fire Plume Ridge when useful. Small Thorium requires 245 and Rich Thorium 275. Watch for roaming elites; the circuit is not a safe travel guarantee. This is a suggested search circuit; detour to tracked nodes. It does not show guaranteed spawn positions.
