How to farm Mithril Ore

Mine deposits with Mining. Carry a Mining Pick and use Find Minerals.

Classic Era, TBC and Wrath use the original Azeroth terrain. Cataclysm and Mists use the reworked world, so use a route for your realm’s terrain.

Follow the rocky boundaries and hills; avoid riding straight through hostile camps.

The Hinterlands — Mithril and Truesilver base map — Follow rocky edges through the central zone and check the cave. Mithril requires Mining 175; Truesilver requires 230. Detour to tracked deposits and avoid faction guards. Outlines mark approximate farming areas; clear the suitable targets inside them and repeat as they respawn. Markers identify areas, not guaranteed individual spawns.
