Light Leather is the lowest level type of leather in WoW. As Alliance, you can farm it as early as level 4-5 and make a lot of gold doing so.

Peacebloom and Silverleaf are the most popular level 1-20 herbs. They can be gathered in any beginning level zones with an Herbalism level of 1-75. Each of these herbs sells for 1-3 gold per stack.
