Item Level: 15
Where to Farm: Duskwood or Hillsbrad Foothills
Recommended Level: 21+

Wool Cloth is the second type of cloth in World of Warcraft. Wool usually sells for between 10-20 gold a stack! Farming wool is one of the best ways to make gold at low levels. It can be farmed at about level 25. Most of the humanoids that drop Wool are between levels 21 and 28. Look for worgens, skeletons and ogres.

Update: You can make a lot of gold with Wool, but if you want to step it up and make thousands of gold you should read my personal favorite guide.

Where to Farm Wool

If you’re Alliance head to Stormwind and then head south east to Duskwood where you will find the most Wool Cloth of just about any zone. There are 5 different places worth clearing, you can go from one to the other killing all the humanoids in site while collecting wool.

If you are horde head to Hillsbrad Foothills and look for humanoids including ghosts, worgen and yeti. There are a lot of different areas worth farming wool here:

Tip: Have you ever wondered how players have so many level 85s or how they can level an 85 so quickly? I use and strongy recommend Zygor's in-game leveling addon which will enable you to level in 5 days of played time. You can find a free version of it here.
