Item Level: 10
Copper Ore is the lowest level ore in World of Warcraft. It’s usually worth 5-10g for a stack of 20 on the auction house and can be farmed very easily. Depending on what race you are you can run circles in the nearest level 1-10 or 10-20 zone and collect Copper and sometimes Tin. I recommend farming in either Durotar if you’re Horde or Darkshore if you’re Alliance. Level 1 Mining is high enough to get started farming this.
Update: You can make a lot of gold with Copper, but if you want to step it up and make thousands of gold you should read my personal favorite guide.
Where to Farm Copper
Alliance
If you’re not near Darkshore already, you can run around Dun Morogh, Elywnn Forest or whatever low level zone you are near. Darkshore is probably the best though, follow this route to farm the most Copper Ore:
Horde
Durotar is the best place to collect Copper Ore. The only Horde area that can match it is Northern Barrens but it’s a little more spread out. Follow the ridges and shore line on the outside of the zone to farm the most Copper Ore.
